This is the maiden voyage of making something for my HK580 quadcopter. I'm running an orange PLA test print only, while the actual quad will be printed with ABS. You should drill three millimeter holes where the marks are located. The piece fits snugly into place. To make it more robust, I've opted to use four spacers instead of just two between the quad and gimbal. Print Settings: Rafts: None necessary. Supports: None needed. Resolution: A precise 0.2 mm layer height is specified. Infill: A generous twenty percent infill ensures stability. Notes: To get optimal results, I employed a 230° nozzle temperature for ABS and a hotbed temperature of ninety degrees Celsius. In Cura, I used a five line brim to achieve the desired adhesion. I created this design in GMax.
