I smashed mine on the first flight and HK never has them in stock. This is essentially a replica with some enhancements. -slots cut into the cone for ventilation, not the ugly point clipped off like the original -better shaped, snugger fitting notch for the propeller -stronger webbing on base from center to outer edge (the original had a large hole that made it weak). multiple holes instead of one large slot *Note: I haven't tested yet to ensure there's enough airflow getting to the motor to prevent it from burning up. My goal is to do so at my earliest opportunity. *The biggest problem I've had so far is trying to get both screws in without ripping off the bosses. I'm considering making the screw length shorter by thickening the material the screws pass through on the cone. Perhaps there are other ways to strengthen these 2 bosses that I haven't thought of... *2/17/2015: both revved, beefed up screw bosses, reinforced web on the cone, and enlarged the screw holes by 0.009 *2/18/2015: planning to create a 4 screw version of this to better seat the cone against the base *3/16/2015: updated both parts for better fit.
