I've designed a replacement fuselage wheel plate due to numerous complaints about its fragility and my own experience where it broke after a relatively gentle landing. The new design features a larger holding area for the wheel wire and increased material for the cowl fasteners. Unfortunately, even with these improvements, the V2 wheel snapped off after five landings on frozen ground or grass. To help prevent this issue, I recommend drilling out the screw holes to 1.5mm before attaching the cowl. This should prevent the screw from snapping if the layer binding isn't perfectly aligned.
