Hobby Zone Super Cub Motor Mount
thingiverse
This is an adapter for installing outrunner motors on a plane's brushed motor mount. The X bracket allows using various outrunners with a X-mount design. For this adaptation, I'll be using a Common Sense RC E5-M-14 outrunner motor. The adapter was designed with DesignSpark Mechanical software, which I completed in 3 hours by downloading the software, installing it, watching tutorial videos, and designing the part. Instructions Printed with PLA using 0.1mm layers and 100% infill settings. Secure the motor using self-tapping sheet metal screws; socket head screws are highly recommended. When drilling holes for the outrunner mount in the PLA, use a drill bit that matches the screw shank to avoid melting the plastic. Advance the drill about 2mm at a time, being cautious not to create a permanent attachment between the motor and the adapter!
