(Hobby Paint Rack) Mini Shelf Bracket

This is a DIY mini shelf bracket I designed for my hobby paint rack, which fits perfectly on the IKEA PS 2014 Bureau that doubles as my painting station. Since commercially available paint racks take up too much space on my small IKEA table, I decided to create one myself instead of buying it. After searching for a suitable bracket, none met my size requirements, so I took matters into my own hands and designed this custom solution. The mini shelf bracket supports shelves with a 35mm width, ideal for most hobby paint bottles from brands like Tamiya, Citadel, or Army Painter/PP drop bottles. To build the mini shelf, I used foamcore, but any material will do as long as it can hold the weight of the paint bottles. You'll need to measure each bottle's height and adjust the space between rows accordingly. The bracket features holes that allow for 1/2" self-tapping screws to be used. Here are the materials I used for this project: * 5 x brackets printed from paint_rack_bracket.stl (each row) * Foamcore (cut into strips of 35mm width using a penknife and ruler) * 1/2" self-tapping screws (one screw per bracket) * Electric screwdriver or mini drill * Double-sided tape or blu-tack to attach foamcore to the bracket I printed the brackets in PLA with two outer layers and 20% infill. My print settings are as follows: * Rafts: No * Supports: No * Resolution: 0.2 mm * Infill: 20% This custom mini shelf bracket allows me to efficiently organize my paint collection on my IKEA table, making it easier for me to work on my projects.
