A simple machine vise I made with some leftover aluminium extrusion.

You'll need the same extrusion profile for it to work.

Part you'll need:

One printedMoving_Jaw.stl

One printedJaw.stl

One printedFixed_post.stl

One printedHandle.stl

At least 270mm 30 "I-type" 60x120mm profile aluminium extrusion. This would give you ~100mm jaw opening. Longer extrusion gives you bigger opening

14x M5x35mm socket head screws (DIN912/ISO4762)

4x M5 nuts for the aluminium extrusion

1x M6X10-28mm countersunk socket head (DIN7991/ISO10642)

At least 190mm M16 threaded rod (DIN975/ISO whatever), this is for 100mm jaw opening for a bigger opening you'll need a longer one.

1x M16 nut (DIN934/ISO4032)

Assembly

You'll have to drill and tap (M5) into the extrusion on both ends. This is so the fixed post and fixed jaw can be attached.
