This is a custom cap I created for the original Printable Hobby Knife by pggibson. The cap snugly fits over the blade and securely snaps onto the knife with ease. UPDATE: I recently redesigned my original cap after it finally broke, making it tougher and much better fitting than before. This new design no longer wobbles, providing a more stable experience. I print this cap using a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.8mm walls, with zero infill for maximum stability. Z-hopping helps ensure the four sections remain securely attached to the bed until they seamlessly come together.
