Assemble the tool according to the picture, using an abundance of M8 washers to achieve your desired position. You may want to print additional washers for optimal calibration purposes, as they come in various sizes: 0.5 mm, 1 mm, and 2 mm. Avoid using standard bearings with metal shields, like 608ZZ, as they will quickly become obsolete due to chippings getting into the bearing. There is no need to secure the M8 screw with a nut, unlike the original design by Landrus. Instead, use an M3 screw (one or two, depending on your preference) to fix the bearings in place. This allows for easy removal of the screw without requiring a wrench. After assembling the bolt, utilize a small file while it's still in the tool to remove any material obstructing the screw. Then, mark the desired position on the bolt (typically 26 mm). Add as many washers as necessary, including the custom-printed 2 mm washer for optimal fit. Once complete, the bolt is ready for use.
