I resized the tension bearing holder slightly and added a part to secure the bearing in place, as well as another part to hold the pivot bearing steady. During testing, I encountered issues with them staying put, so this modification was necessary. Update: 02-11-18 I've now included an option for a 6001ZZ bearing that can be used on hobbed bolts measuring 12mm in diameter. Required Components: 4 Skate bearings (type 608zz) 6 M3x20mm bolts 2 nuts (M8 or 5/16th) 1 bolt (at least 25mm long, M8 or 5/16th) Miscellaneous Washers 1 Tap Instructions for Assembly: Mount the bolt intended for hobbing in the extruder and mark its position with a permanent marker to achieve exact placement. Next, attach the bolt to the device and align it temporarily with the tap. Use washers to secure the alignment. Tighten the hobbed bolt firmly but not too tightly that it ceases to turn freely. Position the bearing on the tap and insert the tap into a drill. Then, place the tap in the pivot mount and secure it in the back tension bearing. Apply tension as needed to achieve optimal results. Don't forget to use lubrication – I find 3-in-1 oil works best for me. Post-Printing Instructions: Ensure that the nut is properly seated to allow the tensioning mechanism to function correctly.
