The Hoary Marmot, a member of the Sciuridae family, is represented here in its taxidermied form as Marmota caligata okanagana. The specimen showcases the animal's skin and skull. This particular marmot was preserved during the summer of 1937. The University of Victoria Libraries is responsible for scanning this object for preservation and study purposes.
