This is an assortment of pieces that I designed, and mods from designs on the sites that I couldn't print. The BoxCar got a bottom to allow carriages to be mounted. CoalCars and bellies got thicker parts because they would only print skeletons without walls. Axles were made from small paperclips - yes - fed through carriage, wheelrims, and spacerwashes. Then ends were bent 90-degrees to hold together. There's also a wheelcarriagetopwasher for a gap between car and wheel tops. These work great - don't pop off tracks at all. Keep an eye on this - it's not finished yet - watch for new cars! Have fun! Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Mendel Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.2mm to 0.8mm nozzle tips Notes: I printed these on a mendel reprap with 1.75mm fibre. I used a 0.8mm nozzle tip with 0.5mm layer height setting. Can use any tip from 0.2mm to 0.8mm - should print fine. It took between 3-10 minutes per part to print. Rafts are suggested for these. Parts may be a little thin and fragile - so be careful when removing. Post-Printing Some parts may have burrs - need filing to finish. If bolts seem loose, glue gun may help.
