The model, designed by someone at Thingiverse, is an ambitious project - a massive, intricately crafted Intermodal Container Train that towers above its miniature peers. Each element of the layout appears to be custom-designed and laser-cut for maximum precision. The scale alone makes it challenging; anything over 36 inches high usually ends up looking clumsy or tacky when made of acrylic sheets or plywood. Here, however, every joint appears precise, each part well-defined with subtle variations between segments. The designer used laser-cutting techniques for added detail: even tiny labels and markings are etched into the model, ensuring accuracy down to its 1:24 scale miniature size - equivalent to real life at approximately 8 feet long! A combination of intermodal shipping containers is neatly placed along its frame; there's an empty platform on top ready to add some load once this setup has arrived.
