UPDATE 20191002: I made several adjustments to enhance the design. The ramp now features a distinct angle at its end, which protrudes from the track bed. I also added a narrower back platform for characters to stand on comfortably. In addition, I created two different versions of an angled back wall: one solid and another shorter version that allows for a small stairway leading up to it. Stairs are included so characters can easily ascend to reach the top portion of the platform. This is a completely new scratch-built creation based on Trackside's original design, but with several modifications. A friend requested my assistance in enhancing their Marklin train set, which features 4MFOR military train cars. They desired a loading/unloading area with platforms and ramps, but the standard cork track bed proved to be too high for the flat top surface of the cars, which are 25mm tall. To resolve this issue, I made some crucial changes, including adjusting the base sides of Trackside's platforms by a few millimeters. This move allowed for more room beneath the cork bed and brought the platform closer to the train car. I also added lines to mimic concrete texture, giving the design a more realistic appearance. Two versions of the ramp were created: one with a pointed end that allows its base to be flush with the surface, and another identical to Trackside's, which is 2mm high at its bottom. I personally prefer the flush version.
