HO Scale Two Story Farmhouse

This model is the most impressive one I've created so far. I'm really proud of it, as it's packed with intricate details like roof vents, an electric meter tower, gutters with downspouts, and plenty of trim work. To achieve this level of realism, I used 3mm LEDs on the front porch and in various rooms, which can be controlled independently to create random lighting effects. The connector, visible in one of the attached images, fits seamlessly into the walls thanks to a corresponding STL file. To prevent light from leaking through the PLA, I painted the interior of the house black and applied black RTV seal. This ensures that each room remains well-lit without any unwanted illumination bleeding between them. The model's parts are designed with locators to facilitate easy assembly, making it straightforward to put everything together. For painting purposes, I printed the components in multiple parts, but you can easily create your own combined STL files if needed. Additionally, I used a dual extruder to craft window frames with glass inserts, although you can simply print the frames and add glass later if preferred.
