HO scale locomotive roller test stand

HO scale locomotive roller test stand

This is a remix of positron96's roller test stand that utilizes roller bearings. For each stand you need the following: 1 printed frame 4 printed spacers 4 M3 button head screws, 10mm or longer 4 M3 nuts 4 4mmx8mmx3mm (W x OD x ID) bearings Solid core wire (I used 0.015" phosphor bronze wire, but any size larger than that should work) Screw the screws in with the head on the outside. Once it's almost all the way in, insert the end of your wire in the corresponding hole on the bottom of the frame. Bend the wire, following the grove on the frame. Use some track to push it in place. Cut the wire once it reaches the screw head, and secure it under the screw. Put the bearing on the screw, and sandwich a spacer between the bearing and nut. The spacer provides clearance for wheel flanges so they don't hit the nut.
