I've included a full-scale Sketchup model, as well as an HO scale version. The model is designed to function either as a lit or unlit structure, and this particular example features three 3mm white LEDs and one 56 Ohm resistor located at the base. I printed all components in white, except for the lights themselves, to minimize bleed-through effects. To create the tower's appearance of electrical conduit, I utilized a brass rod, but it actually serves as a power supply route for the two rods that connect to the lights. To assemble the structure, I provided a temporary square support system to help hold each segment in place while gluing them together. Begin by sliding each segment into the square from the top and ensuring they are properly aligned. Next, use medium-strength CA glue to secure the bottom of each section to the base, starting with the piece that houses the conduit and aligning it with the corresponding holes. Continue this process, working your way up and using tape or small clamps to maintain tight corners as needed. Finally, attach the unusual top piece, ensuring all sections are aligned. Once complete, the LEDs should fit snugly into their housings when fully inserted. I connected the vertical rods and lights using two short pieces of brass rod, which were then soldered in place. To finish the model, I applied an aluminum paint coat followed by a clear flat finish.
