I crafted a 2% grade incline for my HO model railroad. To lift my main lines one cork layer above the surrounding tracks, I sought a straightforward solution. This project breaks down into three components that, when combined, span 24 inches in length. Each part can be used independently if needed. The sides of the slope are angled to harmonize with the cork layer on top. Unfortunately, I'm short on time and have a large layout to complete, so I couldn't tailor different slope percentages.
