The fuel tank was purpose-built for a heavily fortified Marine Corps HMMWV, where it underwent rigorous testing to evaluate the effectiveness of fire-suppression agents in countering the risk of blazes triggered by IED explosions. As per design specifications, this durable container is set to be produced using rotomolding techniques. Measuring and fitting snugly within the standard vehicle configuration of a HMMWV, the tank seamlessly blends into its surroundings - yet it also proves easily adaptable for integration with other similar vehicles through simple modifications, as required. Originally designed to incorporate a built-in bladder filled with fire-suppressing gel situated between the inner tank wall and outer skin, this innovative fuel reservoir further features self-sealing properties.
