HMF Y600 tail mount
thingiverse
I had a major crash that destroyed the mounts holding the tail mechanism in place, so I came up with some replacement parts. I didn't want to completely disassemble the copter and disconnect the motor wires, which were running through the arms, so I designed these as a split mount system that bolts together. To make this work, you'll need 2.5mm diameter bolts and lock nuts that fit properly. A 3mm drill bit is also necessary to create a countersink for the bolt head, allowing the tail fin or servo plate to sit flat on top. It's also helpful to ream out the larger holes closer to the motor by about 2mm in depth, which will allow the tail to pivot without binding. However, be careful not to go too far, as this could cause the bearing to become loose and fail.
