Explode the top plate of your HMB-X5 but don't want to be grounded for even a day while waiting for shipping? We've all been there... Here's a temporary solution that can get you back in the air quickly. It's a 2mm top plate designed specifically for the HMB-X5 frame from Multi-RC, and I've included only the mounting holes I use for my various components. I printed mine from PLA at 100% infill, but I wouldn't expect this to withstand big crashes - it gets the job done when you need to be airborne again fast. Print Settings Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer: Printrbot Simple Metal Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 100% Notes: Use PLA or ABS for optimal results, or something else that's relatively rigid.
