HMB-X5 Board Cam Mount
thingiverse
A 40-degree tilt HS1177 mount, designed for the Multi RC HMB-X5 frame, features top connector placement. Printing this piece in flexible filament (such as TPE and TPU) is highly recommended to ensure a tight fit and reduce oscillations in your FPV feed. The camera is superglued to the printed part with a very tight fit to both the camera and standoffs. This mount shifts the camera forward from the standoffs, creating more space between the FC and your board cam. In contrast, the standard solution of carbon slits and cheap plastic screws that come with the HS1177 offers much less security. I personally use a 2.5mm lens on my HS1177 instead of the stock (for most suppliers) 2.8mm lens. A version of this mount features hexagon holes for hexagonal standoffs, while another has circular holes for more standard cylindrical standoffs. A 0% infill promotes flexibility in the print to ensure a tight fit. Post-Printing: Rough up the bottom of the HS1177 using sandpaper and apply a thin, evenly distributed layer of CA (super) glue to the print. Press the camera in, ensuring all edges of the print are flush with the camera. Install onboard the HMB-X5, with hexagonal standoffs facing the correct orientation and a flat edge towards the front of the craft.
