HLG QB96 Elite V2 Reflector and Light Fixture
thingiverse
This is a light fixture for the HLG Elite QB96 Elite V2. It supports a minimum of two lights and maximum of any multiple of two lights. It is highly customizable in terms of aluminium tube length and number of lights total. It is recommended to under-drive the lamps at 50 W each or to add 120mm 12 V fans to prevent your print from melting or warping. Note that the bolt threads are reflected on each sides, so you will need to print 4x bolts with clockwise threads and 4x bolts with counter clockwise threads for each mount. Per two lights, it requires: 8x M4 x 25mm steel screws + washers 2x M4 x 20mm steel screws (recommended hex head to make easy to screw in) 2x 3/4" square aluminium tube (Paulin 3/4 x 24/36/48-inch Aluminum Square Tube from Home Depot) 8x M4 x 10mm steel screws (for the reflector) White PETG, at least for the reflector 4x-6x karabiners Chain for hanging Using a drill press, drill two holes on each end on the aluminium tube all the way through at the spacing apart for the M4 holes on the heat sink. To get the spacing right, I cut a piece of card paper to 10mm x 125mm and then put it up to the heat sink and punched holes where the M4 sockets were, then used this as a guide for the aluminium tube when drilling. You will need supports for overhang on the light brace when printing it. After you are done screwing in the light brace, attach it to the chain with karabiners then hang it. You can connect any number of light pairs together using the light brace joiner, which you use to create a bridge between two fixtures.
