This is my version of a UM2 clone, which we use at work. I designed it in OpenSCAD and like the performance. The frame uses 12.8mm square tubing that can be found on Hobbyking.com. It features standard Ultimaker2 sliders, print head, and 610mm belts. I made some adjustments to the Z axis using two T8 Leadscews driven by one stepper motor. I suggest adjusting the SCAD file and printing a size test first to get your printer's tolerances right. Then adjust the other SCAD files for good parts. Please note that this is not finished yet. The SCAD files are incomplete, so when I upload the STLs, it will be ready. This project was created for my own use, but I wanted to share it with you.
