These adapters are designed for use with 10x10mm and 20x20mm aluminum U-profiles or square tubing. The profile can be rotated in 45-degree increments. Any high-power LED strip, exceeding 5 watts per meter, requires a heat sink to function properly. In this case, the aluminum U-profile is generally less expensive than specialized LED strip profiles. However, installation location plays a significant role in determining whether an open structure can be used. The holder for 20x20mm has screw holes measuring 4.2mm, while the one for 10x10mm has holes of 3.2mm. To ensure proper fit and stability, make sure to extend the aluminum by at least 15mm beyond the LED strip on both ends.
