This is an exact copy of the 28mm adapter you can buy (or obtain for free from Hive if you are lucky). This is designed to fit Thermostatic Radiator Valve heads (TRV's) with a 28mm x 1.5mm thread pitch head.My own Drayton TRV's are 28mm, but these do not fit them very well as there is too much gap at the top for the Hive TRV to work correctly.So I decided to make my own TRV adapter - and the starting point was to copy the official one, before I modify it to suit my own requirements.As I have gone to the trouble of reverse engineering the standard 28mm adapter, and knowing these are £8 if you buy them from a 3rd party, I decided to make this available for anyone who needs it. This repository includes both the body and the pushrod which cliips into the central section.I enclose the STL, the export from Fusion 360 (in case you need to modify the design to suit your own TRV), and my project file from Bambu Labs so you can see what settings I have used to get a very clean print. The supports should just peel away with no effort at all.I recommend you print this in ABS due to the temperatures it needs to cope with, using 100% infill.Hope you find it useful.
