Hive Thermostat Backplate and Stand

This provides an upgraded/alternative backplate, identical in function to the original. The clips are secured by friction rather than flexible clips, leaving uncertainty regarding its durability under repeated use. The base is engineered to accept this new backplate (not the standard one) as I added a central hole for secure attachment. The connecting holes provide a snug fit for M3 bolts. I utilized M3x12mm bolts that protrude from the rear, as shown. The locking nuts are primarily aesthetic but can be modified by reaming out the holes to accommodate alternative fasteners. I'm satisfied with the results so far, yet there's always room for refinement. The stand remains sturdy, although it would benefit from a thin foam or rubber base for added stability.
