A magnetic spring sheet bed is going to assist greatly as it will keep the magnets securely in place in the event of any collisions, however, a glass bed should also work.Ensure your hot end is non-ferrous (standard copper nozzles are perfect), otherwise, it can pull the magnets out of their position.I would suggest pausing (gcode M1;) the Z-height 12.05 to insert the magnets into position, but I have successfully inserted them mid-print. A great video can be found at 3D Printing Nerd‘s Youtube channel showing exactly how to pause at a specific point mid-print.Once the magnets are installed, you can resume – just make sure you home X and Y (gcode G28 X Y;) if you had to move the bed or nozzle to get the magnets installed.Depending on your printer, you can print multiple at the same time, but make sure to calculate when you’ll need to insert the magnets! Most printers will power down as a safety precaution if left paused for too long and make resuming nearly impossible.Filament material:PETGResolution:0.4 nozzle 0.2 layerInfill:15%Approx print time:2hrs 50mins (per)Approx filament:8.33m / 25gRafts:NoSupports:No
