Love @Blackp0ison's version of Hive! Looks so good on the table. Loved it enough to want more pieces. So, I used the expansion bugs from @Ifs83's version to create this expansion set that matches the base game. Included are the "full" files as well as the hex and bugs separately if you would like to do multi color. RULES: The Pillbug moves one space at a time, but also has a special ability it may use instead of moving that allows it to move an adjacent piece (friendly or enemy) to another empty space adjacent to itself. This special ability makes the Pillbug a formidable defensive and offensive bug. The Ladybug is a versatile Hive bug. It moves up over other pieces and down into unoccupied spaces. It can change direction when moving, so it can get to positions that other pieces cannot quickly reach. The Ladybug is sometimes referred to as the Knight of Hive and has to move two spaces up onto of the hive and one space back down to the base level. The Ladybug cannot end it's movement on top of the Hive. The Mosquito is a very tricky Hive insect. It has no movement ability of its own, but takes its movement ability from any other bug, of either colour, that it is touching at the start of its move. This means that it is constantly changing its movement and can quite easily catch your opponent unawares. Enjoy and post your makes! Fixed. Also fixed the thin arms of the mosquito and ladybug.
