Upgrading your Hitec Zipper motor with an 1806 size motor requires a motor mount designed specifically for this purpose. This upgrade utilizes the existing motor mount found on the stock motor, eliminating the need for additional hardware or modifications. However, it's essential to note that trimming of the nose foam is necessary to accommodate the larger motor. This involves enlarging the hole for the motor and slightly trimming back the nose to ensure a secure fit. The motor mount features two mounting holes spaced 16x12mm apart, with each hole having a diameter of 2mm.
