I didn't want to shell out $5 for a fancy 3D printed cover that cost just $0.50, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and create one myself for a mere $0.50. The pivoting cross piece is a clever design feature that keeps the pin securely in place, preventing any unwanted movement or slippage. When inserting or removing the pin, simply push the cross piece into its print position, and you're good to go. And if by some chance the cross piece does drop down while inside the hitch, I'd love to hear about it so I can have a good laugh!
