Hitachi ED Projector Clutch Gear

Replacing a Failing Clutch Gear in Your Projector When working with projectors, it's common to encounter issues with the clutch gear. One frequent problem is that the gear's two circular keys eventually wear down from the constant contact of the metal axle they rest on. This causes the mirror door to malfunction and fail to open or close correctly. Fortunately, a DIY solution is available. I created a replacement part using TinkerCAD, and although it may not be an exact replica of the original gear, it works efficiently. When 3D printing this replacement part, ABS is a good choice due to its strength. However, PLA might also be a suitable option since it can withstand the pressure and prevent further damage.
