Panzergranate 39 or Pzgr. 39 was a powerful armor-piercing shell used extensively during World War II. German manufacturers produced it in various calibers, making it the go-to anti-tank shell for their tanks (German Kampfwagenkanone; abbreviated as KwK) and anti-tank guns (German Panzerabwehrkanone(n); shortened to PaK) with calibers ranging from 37 to 88 mm (1.5 to 3.5 inches).
