I would like to collaborate with other Thingiverse users to create a series of markers recognizing key milestones in the history of 3D printing, showcasing its integral part in the evolution of MAKING. The Historical Marker Template is suitable for commemorating historical places or events, as seen in the example marker celebrating RepRap's founding. These markers could be used at demonstrations and educational events to add an additional layer of information while highlighting 3D printing's significance in shaping history. I invite you to share your ideas for other historical markers or create and share your own. Originally designed as part of a Social Science lesson plan, the template has been updated with Inkscape SVG and PDF templates available for download.
