This 19th-century jail lies in the basement of Villarrubia de los Ojos' old City Hall, situated in Ciudad Real, Spain, and is one of the last remaining examples of its kind in the area. The jail had cells on the ground floor of City Hall, separating men from women and the most notorious prisoners. Most cells lacked windows, forcing detainees to rely on a makeshift lighting system for some hours each day, leaving them in total darkness at other times. On their walls, prisoners left graffiti, including images of women, crosses, and hearts. This jail remained in use until the 19th century when Spain's judicial and prison systems underwent significant changes. It is one of the few preserved examples of an 18th-century jail still standing in La Mancha. This model was created using 24 scans from a FARO Focus S70 laser scanner, processed with Meshlab and Xnormal software.
