Rebuilt from a variety of sherds, this storage jar or cooler is made up of artifacts from historic collections recovered at Fort Frederica and the town of Frederica in Georgia, dating back to around 1736-1746. These items are carefully preserved at the Fort Frederica National Monument. This artifact was scanned using blue light laser scanning technology and given photogrammetry textures, as part of a larger digitization and design project between the University of South Florida Libraries (USF DHHC) and the National Park Service/Fort Frederica National Monument.
