The gravesite of Nicholas N. Jandreau, a young man who lost his life at just 21 years old to measles and pneumonia, is located at Cape Road Cemetery (8BR233) on the United States Space Force base in Brevard County, Florida. This site serves as a testament to the area's rich history and early pioneering families, including Nicholas's own deep-sea fishing heritage. The cemetery lies adjacent to historic coastal settlements that once thrived where space launch complexes and military facilities now dominate the landscape. Our research team conducted extensive 3D and geophysical investigations here, meticulously documenting both above-ground structures and underground burials at these historic cemeteries, ultimately aiding in their preservation and management for future generations.
