Hiro's Bot Fighter
thingiverse
I design models, made parts on MakerBot Replicator 2X from black ABS filament, 3D drawings created using Rhino 3D. Strong magnets bought from K & J Magnets, part number 662-N52, were utilized for this project. I attached small plugs to fill slots for magnets using standard black ABS glue, and painted the face with fingernail polish. Plugs: - cap1 for arms - cap5a for Face_bod - cap5b for bod5b - cap5c for bod5c For a detailed video on how I created this project, please visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23Ofh0L3Iic&feature=autoshare Important Note: When using magnets, be cautious with the North-South orientation to ensure proper assembly. Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2X Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: Medium Infill: 50% My Design Process: After printing parts, I sanded them thoroughly and then gave them a smooth finish by applying a paper towel and a small amount of acetone.
