This is a critical test to see how your printer manages narrow tolerances when printing two materials that can dissolve together. Simply print the parts, let them dissolve, and verify whether the middle piece will spin freely. To facilitate this evaluation, you can download either the pivot_test_04.stl file for 0.4mm gap settings or the pivot_test_05.stl and pivot_test_06.stl files for narrower 0.5 and 0.6mm gaps, respectively. However, if none of these configurations meet your requirements, it's quite easy to simply download the scad file and adjust the "gap" parameter to whatever specification you need. Notably, changing the value of this variable will affect not only the space between the pivot point and hole but also the vertical distance among three square parts included in the print job. The provided image represents an early iteration of this experiment, featuring a 0.4mm gap setting that my dual-printer Replicator handled without issues using its 0.4mm nozzle.
