These are designed to cover the unused slots in the extrusions. I wanted something to keep the dirt and grime out but couldn't find anything online that I liked or didn't have crazy shipping costs. After giving up on that, I decided to try to make some myself. I wasn't sure if PLA would be flexible enough, but it works decently. Use moderate pressure and they pop in securely. These turned out exactly like I wanted and give the extrusions a smooth and sleek appearance. The STL provided is 20mm long. Adjust the length in your slicer to fit the different slots. The longer slots will require 2 or more installed end to end.
