Hiprecy LEO - Simplify3D Profiles
thingiverse
These are the profiles that work well for me in Simplify3D on my LEO printer. There are three files included. Profile 1: Hiprecy LEO - ABL This profile runs the bed leveling routine before printing and saves the results to the EEPROM for future use with Profile 2. Profile 2: Hiprecy LEO This profile uses the bed leveling data created with Profile 1 or an ABL GCode file provided, and enables bed leveling without actually performing the leveling routine. ABL GCode file: Place this file on your SD card to run the bed leveling routine when needed. As with Profile 1, this file will save the results to the EEPROM for future use with Profile 2. I don't use Profile 1. I prefer to use the ABL GCode file when it is needed and slice only with Profile 2. If you want to run ABL before every print, then Profile 1 will work best for you. Both profiles have entries in the start GCode for Linear Advance, Acceleration, and Jerk values. These reflect the values in my custom firmware. Note that the Linear Advance value makes a difference only if it's enabled in the firmware. It's not enabled from factory on the LEO. I suggest enabling it because I've found there is a noticeable improvement in print quality when used. See included photo for Marlin 1.1.9 with Linear Advance enabled: [https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4176536](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4176536) Update 3-23-20: I've tweaked the profiles further and am getting some really nice-looking prints on the LEO now. See included photos of a few test prints.
