Hipponix cornucopiae

The Hipponix cornucopiae is a small marine snail with impressive dimensions, measuring 5.7 x 3 x 2.5 cm. Its stratigraphic range spans from the Eocene to the present day. Unfortunately, its specific location remains unknown. A total of 132 photographs were taken using an APS-C reflex camera in a photo studio. The three-dimensional model was reconstructed using photogrammetry techniques. This project was a collaborative effort between SIGeo, CEREGE, OSU PYTHEAS, and Aix-Marseille University, completed in July 2018.
