When combined, these two components create a complete maraca. Because the bulb is hollow, items like beans, pebbles, or sand can be poured inside before the handle area is sealed off. The connection was designed to allow for easy concealment of the seal. The maracas measure approximately 3 inches by 3 inches by 6 inches when assembled.
