Hinges

Two types of hinges I designed specifically for my 3D-printer enclosure. Initially, I purchased traditional metal hinges but they had too much play in them, which made them impractical for use. In response to this issue, I created self-centring hinges that are surprisingly durable. The "B" version is versatile and can be used on a door while also allowing it to be easily lifted off. I deliberately designed these hinges to be very tight, but I've also provided a slightly looser variation called the "+" version for users who may encounter difficulties getting them to work properly. In addition to these new hinge designs, I've also created the "Decorative Corner" and the "Deco Corner Cutout". These models are now available for download. When printing these hinges, it's recommended to use 100% cooling (although ABS may require a slightly different setting). Supports should not be necessary. The design is optimized for a layer height of 0.15mm, although other heights may work as well. The model was created using Sketchup before I became familiar with Fusion 360, ensuring that it's watertight and suitable for 3D-printing. I've successfully printed these hinges in various materials, including PLA, ABS, PETG, and Nylon, all of which produce excellent results.
