Hinged Raspberry Pi Case with LiIon Battery pack and power/charge circuit
thingiverse
This enclosure is designed to convert a Raspberry Pi into a standalone device in headless mode. The HDMI and USB ports are easily accessible, allowing you to connect an external monitor and keyboard/mouse as needed. The box relies on four external components: an adafruit 1000C USB/Li-ion charger board, a 3-cell (6600mAh) Li-ion battery pack, a sliding SPDT switch, and a USB micro-B connector for powering the Pi. This setup works seamlessly with either the B+, Pi2, or Pi3 models. There is ample space within the box for additional internal circuitry and components. To facilitate further modifications, I have included FreeCAD format files. An update was made in May 2017: The design has been revised, and AutoDesk Fusion 360 design files are now available for anyone who wishes to customize the design.
