This is a custom hinged mount designed specifically for an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor that fits perfectly into the t-slot of vertical 8020 beam components. By incorporating the SoftMatterPhysics mount on a hinge, users can easily adjust the coverage area and angle of the sensor to suit their needs. I created this mounting system because we needed to fine-tune the position of our robot's sonars relative to each other for optimal performance. You'll need to edit the .scad file to reference the correct path for the includes/imports before rendering it. Print Settings: Printer: Monoprice M3 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: Normal/Standard Infill: 15% Notes: Print with support to ensure the hinges are properly supported during printing, then remove excess material using a pair of needle-nose pliers and/or a pin-vise to clear out the holes in each hinge loop.
