3-13-2017 The community has been asking for Rev 4, which is now available. It features a brand new hinge system that utilizes 1.75mm filament as a pin. I've also optimized the angled part of the hinge system to ensure smoother printing without unnecessary supports. The latest version is Rev 3 change log. Removed material from both the top and bottom halves of the model to minimize printing requirements. Fewer supports mean faster printing times! 3-14-2016Happy pi day! Rev 2 has been uploaded, featuring new upgrades including sd slots, full support for micro cards, a brand-new bin for lens caps, and an updated hinge design that clicks into place. Dimension data was not available due to a lack of reference samples. 10-21-2015 V2 of the bottom half has been revised with added space for a wrench notch, allowing easier tool management. I'm working on an improved hinge system, but for now, it serves its purpose in keeping the two halves together. Since printing this myself, I've noticed that the original thin hinge is not strong enough and doesn't maintain contact throughout 180 degrees of rotation. As a result, the next update will address this issue. This is a versatile hinged case designed to hold a variety of items for the DJI phantom drone, including gimbal shock absorbers, mounts, Allen wrenches, motor wrenches, SD cards, prop guard screws, and much more.
