Hinged Case for Earphones (separate parts remix)
thingiverse
This is yyh1002's [hinged case](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2548489), modified for two-piece printing that snaps together seamlessly. This eliminates support needs and allows for a superior finish on both the lid and bottom - especially with a glass bed or smooth printing surface. You can also print the lid and box in different colors to suit your preferences. I've enhanced the lid catch mechanism slightly, making it less likely to open accidentally. The top and bottom shells are now thinner to reduce material usage and printing time. The slimmer lid provides an extra millimeter of space. Even with 1 mm shells, they should be strong enough for regular use - or you can opt for 'thick' files at 2 mm thickness like the original. I've also included alternative models marked 'L5,' which are 5 mm longer and suitable for earphones with additional buttons or controls. You can combine any box and lid files of the same length within each set, as they all fit together perfectly. To assemble the hinge, push it together from inside, using the small recesses provided to make this process easier. If you encounter difficulty opening the box, press it at the sides (lengthwise) - this will help it pop open much more easily, as shown in the Post-Printing section below.
