Hinged attic window opener (Velux)

This rescues you when you fall just a bit short of comfortably opening your attic window (from Velux specifically in this case).I was inspired to get back to the drawing board after using the part from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:343730, which eventually broke and made me realize that it did not make my life much easier without a hinge allowing the stick side to fall back and reduce the height also when its closed.Hence, I present to you a version that is stronger (thicker clamp) and with a print-in-place hinge and handle!12-08-2022: I have added a version with a longer holding region.Print SettingsPrinter:Ender3 V2Rafts: Doesn't MatterSupports:YesResolution: 0.2Infill:30%Filament:Polymaker PETGPurple Notes: !! Important !! place the model such that the narrow edge of the clamp and handle sit flat on the bed. In this orientation, the hinge does not need any support and prints in place pretty well, but the mouth of the clamp does need it. The slicer should automatically identify it. Category: Household
