Hinged attic window opener (Velux)

This rescues you when you fall just a bit short of comfortably opening your attic window (from Velux specifically in this case). I was inspired to get back to the drawing board after using the part from <https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:343730>, which eventually broke and made me realize that it did not make my life much easier without a hinge allowing the stick side to fall back and reduce the height also when its closed. Hence, I present to you a version that is stronger (thicker clamp) and with a print-in-place hinge and handle!
