Hinge with 75 degree backstop

thingiverse

This top cover hinge is designed for RailCore printers with a 75-degree backstop. Its purpose is to hold the top cover at a comfortable angle, preventing it from closing on its own and avoiding contact with the wall behind the printer if there's some gap present. I utilize this exact hinge, which has an 80-degree tilt, and it barely provides enough clearance. To secure the lid and frame side, I use the back plates found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3745992 A warning is in order: This setup may exert undesirable stress on the acrylic material, and I've only used it for a short period, so its long-term effects are unknown to me. In the future, I plan to redesign this hinge to extend to the extrusion and attach a backplate to the extrusion at the bottom, but for now, it serves my needs.
